Do you know what it feels like to try to learn in a different language? In our session, you will be asked to “walk in someone else’s shoes” to try to understand what an emerging bilingual learner experiences in a classroom. Research has provided us with a multitude of strategies to educate students and you will get the opportunity to experience how a couple of these strategies can be effectively used within a CPM problem with the goal to develop students’ academic language.
